BCC Instructors

Instructors for the Basic Climbing Class are all volunteers who generously donate their time, expertise, and energy to teach students. Our instructors are all climbers who embody the mission of the Washington Alpine Club to encourage health and enjoyment, stewardship, and fellowship among all outdoor recreationslists. Many of our instructors are BCC alumni, and all instructors are required to pass a series of prerequisites before consideration. 2024 BCC Co-Chairs

The Basic Climbing Class is led by co-chairs each year who organize the class curriculum, coordinate instructor volunteers, and facilitate student learning through lectures, clinics, and support. You can reach out to cochairs by emailing  wac-basic-chairs ΑΤ googlegroups DΟΤ com.
